Jonathan Has Left Under Tragic Circumstances
In the early hours of this morning, Day 35 of the series,
multi-millionaire housemate Jonathan Durden left the Big Brother
House for good.
The 49-year old dramatically threatened to quit on Day 29,
but changed his mind the following day having been talked-round
by his peers and Big Brother.

opportunity away, and although we had no sympathy for him
on that occasion, this time things are different.
For the businessman was called to the Diary Room shortly
after midnight on Monday night and informed by Big Brother
of some very important personal circumstances that would affect
His elderly Grandmother had sadly passed-away, and Jonathan
had a chance to briefly tell his peers the situation and give
them a hug before quietly leaving.
Now, Jon may well have postponed his own wedding to appear
on Big Brother, but we understand that he is a family man
and it is, of course, totally acceptable that he should want
to leave the House immediately under these circumstances.
In a way we feel a bit sorry for him, seeing as he'd just
got used to the idea of lasting it out. He won't be massively
missed by fans, but he's sure to be missed by some of his
peers, notably Carole, Gerry and Ziggy.
We may start a new Poll on Wednesday asking if you'd want
Jonny back in a few weeks time; please keep an eye on the
right-hand margin of our Home page.
Jonathan's stay in the Big Brother House lasted 18 days,
and there are now twelve contestants left in the game.
