How Far Will The Newbies Go?
Four new guys arrived last night and there are now fifteen
contestants in the game, but we've been wondering this morning
how long the newbies might last?
There's been plenty of chat about all four already in our
Forum, but here's what the bookies think at this early
Hunky lumberjack Liam is the most popular on odds of 6/1
to Win, and young IT guy Brian comes next on 8/1.
Millionaire businessman Jonathan is third on 16/1, and poor
old male model Billi is last on 20/1.
Those odds reflect how the bookies think each one will do
at the moment, but we've still got well over two
months to go, so things could well change.
That said, if you agree with the bookies and think Geordie
Liam might well be a Winner, a £10 bet at the above
odds would get you £70 back if you were right. Plus
you'd get a Free £10 Bet from Paddy Power as they match
what you put in for your first bet (up to £25).
Not only that, but they've extended their 'Second Coming'
offer for another week, so if Liam was to come Second Overall,
you'd at least get your stake back even if you didn't win
anything. Now that can't be bad!
If, however, you think that Jonathan could Win Big Brother
8 – perhaps because the public might decide to give
the £100k prize to the man who doesn't actually need
it – a £25 bet on the rich guy would net you a
profit of £400 if it came right. Plus, you'd get a Free
£25 Bet (new customers only).
