Second Round Nominations In Detail

Last week Ziggy was the sole nominator and chose to put Emily and Shabnam up for eviction. At the second round, there were four nominators – Gerry, Seany, Amanda and Sam – who ultimately put Carole, Shabnam and Tracey face eviction.

Here's who they chose to nominate and why:

Amanda - Carole & Nicky
Mandy's first choice was Carole, because it's the oldest housemate who calls a lot of the House meetings, but she often walks away when things get a bit heated. "She'll not, like, contribute (and) we're supposed to be like a team, so maybe that's a bit bad," added the joint-youngest housemate. Amanda stated that she found her second choice hard, but plumped for Nicky because she gets upset if the cleaning isn't done. Also, she told newbiess Gerry and Seany that the Twins don't clean their dishes, something that Amanda refuted. Furthermore, Mandy thought Nicky makes too much of a fuss about cooking and food.

Gerry - Shabnam & Tracey
Gerry, who'd only been in the House for three full days, gave Shabnam's name as his first nomination. "This girl is constantly posing and has become a little bit annoying to me," said the newbie, adding that all she does is pose for the mirrors and look at the cameras, even when she's talking to someone. In other words, she's very rude. His second nominee was Tracey because she seems to have a limited vocabulary on purpose; the point being that she can limit the amount of conversations she gets into with her peers. He then added that you can't have a normal conversation with Tracey because of this.

Sam - Shabnam & Carole
Shabnam was Sam's first nominee, because she hasn't been mucking-in with all the jobs. Also, when they hold House meetings, Shab doesn't seem to heed what they decide and almost deliberately does things to annoy people, like being loud in the bedroom at night time. Her second nominee was Carole, because during the House meetings the 53-year-old walks-off, and that's rude. Basically, it was the same as the reason given by her twin.

Seany - Tracey & Shabnam
Without hesitation Seany chose Tracey for his first nomination, because she's very dismissive when facing issues or being challenged, and she doesn't really get involved in all the fun and games. "I think maybe that some people are afraid to ask her if she wants to join-in the fun, because they think she's gonna' snap at them," added the 25-year-old. About second nominee Shabnam, Seany said that she causes conflict by the way she says things and she doesn't do any chores. Dubbing her immature, he added that she when she was confronted about tidying-up, she just raised her voice and wasn't really listening.

So, the tally after the second round of nominations was: Shabnam: 3, Carole and Tracey: 2 each, Nicky: 1. Amanda, Chanelle, Charley, Gerry, Laura, Sam, Seany and Ziggy avoided nominations this week, which was certainly a surprise in the case of Charley.

As a result, Shabnam, Carole and Tracey will all face eviction this Friday.
