Seany's Statues

This afternoon, some of the group played a fun version of the kids' game 'Statues', but with a special Seany-style twist.

As Seany, Shabs, Ziggy and Chanelle started playing the game, instead of just walking slowly towards the Curator as normal, they became various different animals to spice things up.

So, as they approached the Curator, who would suddenly turn around every-now-and-then to catch someone moving, the group moved forward like a variety of animals, including gorillas, elephants and penguins.

For the elephants they held an arm out to represent the beast's trunk, and Charley decided to join-in this round after checking herself in the mirrors. Ahem.

But Seany pulled Shabs up on her version of the big-eared mammal, crying, "How many elephants look like this?" Admittedly, we've never seen an elephant with prancing claws either!

One of the Twins joined-in as the group had a go at being penguins, everyone doing the wobbly walk as they approached the Curator.

But Shabnam's suggestion that they should be hyenas fell wide of the mark; as Seany pointed-out, they're defined by the noise they make and the players must stay silent.

Actually, thinking about it, can Shabs play Statues more often if it shuts her up?!
