4th Evictee: It's Grace
As Davina prepared to announce the result to the House, the
baying crowd started singing an adaptation of Baddiel &
Skinner's 'Three Lions', changing the words to, "She's
going out, she's going out, she's going. Grace is going out!"
There were massive boos when Grace's name was mentioned or
her face was shown on the giant screen, and somewhat peculiarly
given that she wasn't exactly popular a week ago, huge cheers
for Nikki when she was mentioned or shown.
Grace polled an amazing 88% in the public vote that evicted
her, not quite matching Sezer's record-breaking 91%, but this
was possibly because lots of people didn't bother voting this
week, thinking it a foregone conclusion?
When telling the group the news, Davina forewent the usual
tension-building pause before announcing Grace's name, mainly
because the crowd were chanting 'Get Grace Out!' loud and
Upon hearing her name, Grace just smiled and looked embarrassed
as the girls came over to offer a hug. The group wondered
why Davina had been so quick, but we all know that it was
to spare the soon-to-be-evicted dancer's feelings.
Richard approached, kissed her and said, "I want you
to put this on for good luck. This is a friendship bracelet".
It was a nice gesture, although somewhat misplaced, but nevertheless
Grace said, "Thanks Rich... you're making me cry, so
Plastic pal Imogen stood in the background, tears rolling
down her face, and Grace later declared to Mikey and Imogen,
"They're (the public) gunning for me, aren't they?"
Erm, just a bit Gracie. Just a bit!
Grace had 30-minutes remaining to get herself together, say
her goodbyes and, of course, plot her revenge on Suzie...
