Glyn's Singing Jeopardises Task
Poor old Glyn. As-if his Welsh-accent version of 'Children
Of The Revolution' wasn't sufficient punishment for anyone
with ears, the Hapless Harry has now followed Nikki and jeopardised
the latest task by bursting into song when it's strictly forbidden!
The youngster had only just sworn his allegiance to leader
Suzie this morning, when he sprang into an involuntary rendition
of Yakety Yak.
However, the housemates are only allowed to sing Dictator
Suzie's favourite tunes, which are: 'Can't Take My Eyes Off
You' by Andy Williams, 'Living On A Prayer' by Bon Jovi and
'I Like The Way' by BodyRockers.
But for some reason the group think they might be okay because
it wasn't actually a song Glyn was singing, it was
a TV theme tune. Erm, riiiight.
It is true that the Coasters ditty was used during the opening
titles of 'Clive Anderson Talks Back,' but you can't pull
the wool over Big Bro's eyes. If the all-hearing entity bans
all-but three songs, then it doesn't want to hear anything
but those three songs. Simple.
So, the group may have already incurred their first fail,
but at least if it all goes pear-shaped they've got one good
tune to get drunk and sing-along to in the Andy Williams'
classic, 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You'.
Join-in everyone, 'I love you ba-by, and if it's quite alright...'
