The Group's Reaction To The Nominations

Following the earlier nominations, Big Bro announced the nominees to the gathered group today. However, the all-seeing entity had some surprises in store for the ten remaining contestants.

Having nominated one person in their pairs, the housemates thought that the individual nominees would go up against each other as normal. However, as we know, Big Bro had other ideas.

"This week the housemate with the most nominations will face the public vote... with their best friends," announced the omnipresent power, receiving some cheers of nervous excitement from the group.

When Imogen and Suzie were announced as the first nominees, the former screamed and the latter laughed.

Next nominee Michael just nodded upon hearing his name, but best pal Spiral looked gutted when his name was called.

Richard then predicted that he and Pete would be next, and he was right!

Upon hearing their names called, Pete waved his arms in the air and Richard, looking nowhere near as gutted as had previously, joked, "Some cruel ba**ard put me up on my birthday!" His 34th birthday is later this week.

Big Brother then revealed the full extent of the 'Best Friends' task, saying, "One pair of best friends will leave the house in a double eviction on Friday".

In response, some of the group looked shocked, others cheered, and an excited Imogen, Pete, Richard and Suzie all got together for a group hug.

Spiral just sat there looking totally dejected, before leaving the room to be on his own. But Mikey and Michael soon chased after the Irishman and caught-up with him in the bathroom as he tried to take it all in.

The 23-year-old rapper subsequently went to the Diary Room and struggled to hold back the tears as he realised that his BB experience could soon be over.

And, contrary to our comments about Imogen and Suzie in our nominee announcement article, somewhat surprisingly, the bookies agree.
