1st Evictee: It's Bonnie

After nine days of drama which saw two contestants leave the House before the 1st Eviction had even taken place, Bonnie became the 1st Evictee tonight.

Up against Glyn, she received a massive 78% in the public vote that evicted her, which meant our Home page Poll was fairly accurate at 72%.

With the twelve housemates sat around the sofas awaiting the news, the question on everyone's lips was, 'Is he 'gonna swear?' Indeed, Davina gave the usual introduction, "Big Brother House, this is Davina. You are live on Channel 4, please do not swear".

Then, with Tourette's sufferer Pete amusingly sat there with a cushion stuffed into his mouth, the host added, "...Try not to, anyway!" Everyone laughed.

Both nominees looked apprehensive as they awaited the news of their fate, and when Davina revealed that Bonnie was the 1st Evictee, she looked absolutely gutted but somehow relieved at the same time.

The Loughborough lass was oblivious to the booing crowd, as there were cuddles all-round from her peers. Richard in particular offered some positive advice, saying, "Enjoy every moment of it, it's your moment".

However, it soon dawned on Bonnie that her experience was almost over, and when Rich added, "Remember: there are no goodbyes, only beginnings," her eyes began to tear-up.

Bonnie had to carefully wipe-away the tears so-as not to ruin her make-up, while best pal Lea tried to console the 20-year-old care worker.

Meanwhile, Glyn looked chuffed with himself and would stay to fight another day. Bonnie, however, had just 30-minutes left to say her goodbyes.
