Reaction To The Nominations

Kemal and Orlaith were announced as the nominees this afternoon but neither housemate was particularly shocked.

With both nominees just nodding in acceptance, Orlaith simply said, "That's it".

The Irish model has threatened to quit many times but speculated that if she survived last Friday's eviction, she would probably last until the final week (thus indicating that she wants to stay really). However, today's news might scupper her real ambitions.

"Check me out!" said Kemal, as he slapped hands with Makosi. The cross-dressing youngster was happy that he would at least get to dress-up on Friday night!

Derek looked puzzled at the result but refused to talk about it. "I'm thinking," he said, but clearly didn't 'get it'. He was the only person to save Kemal in the nomination vote, although the political man probably thought his Turkish peer had several allies?

He confirmed this in a later chat about the situation with Eugene, revealing that he was surprised by Kemal's name being called. However, the resident geek said that he wasn't surprised, suggesting that Kemal doesn't stand-out enough in the House.

Er, hello? What's a guy/girl gotta' do around this place to get noticed!
