The group's 'Dad-like' figure Derek has been giving new boy Eugene some advice on how to survive in the House this morning.

On his second day as a housemate proper, Eugene listened intently as Del told him, "Don't be running around after people every five minutes".

He wasn't alluding to any specific case with his warning, but certainly Craig seems to have become gopher to Maxwell and Anthony, who totally take advantage of him at times.

It was noted by the technical bod that no-one ever seems to wash up, which just started Derek off on a rant about how lazy they all are, with everyone avoiding the chores.

In reply, Eugene said that he didn't mind mucking-in and would rather keep himself busy.

Jeez, there's one born every minute!
