3rd Big Brother 6 Evictee: It’s Sam

Tonight, Sam Heuston has become the 3rd Evictee of Big Brother 6, having received 59% in the official public vote that sealed her fate.

Therefore, Derek and Roberto have escaped eviction this week, which is bound to come as something of a shock to Saskia and Max; they thought the Italian was certain to go.

There are now 10 contestants left in the game, with another 8 Weeks left to go until the series Finale on Friday the 12th of August.

Before announcing the result, Davina gave the crowd a ‘task’ from Big Brother, which was to cheer loudly when each person’s name was read out.

At first we assumed that the all-seeing entity didn’t want the crowd booing and giving away the fact that Sam’s name was just about to be divulged as the evictee.

However, it was probably more to do with the fact the housemates were able to guage public opinion last week when they all faced eviction, which sparked discussions about their individual popularity.

Upon hearing the news Sam just laughed, but Derek made-out that he was disappointed his name hadn’t been read out, screeching, "I want to go HOME!"

Having received a flower from Science and a kiss or cuddle from everyone but Max, Sam shouted, "I’m going home". It was as though she was pleased with the news.

Within half an hour, the Marketing Student from Surrey would indeed be on her way home.
