As a reward for winning last week's 'Ignore the Obvious'
task, the group were shown messages from friends and family
yesterday. However, Dave wasn't impressed with his message
and has threatened to quit over it.
Since watching the vid, which featured his wife saying that
she hopes he stays another week in the House, Dave moaned
that his kids didn't make an appearance. Actually, there was
a picture of them on the video with the caption 'You're a
hero' overlayed, but Dave wanted to see them messing around.
The 39-year-old discussed his concerns with Big Brother today,
saying that his wife seemed subdued, but the entity reassured
the Welshman that his family are fine. However, Dave subsequently
told Steve: "I know my family. I know when they're happy
and excited, and that message was just really flat. They were
Dave, fretting over the fact that neither his wife nor his
Mum told him that he's doing well, or that (fans) like what
he's doing, suggested that he might even quit the show. The
thing is, his Mum did say that she was proud of him, but what
did he expect... his wife to lie and say that he's really
popular on the outside?
After all, Dave stands absolutely zero chance of winning
to be frank, and his wife probably knows that if she's been
on internet forums and Big Brother fan sites such as Big Brother
This evening, Big Brother denied Dave's request to pass a
message on to his wife Donna on his behalf, and simply told
the former pest controller that everyone who has quit so far
has regretted it.
