Long-time Big Brother UK host Davina McCall has suggested
that Andrew, who arrived in the first round of latecomers
at the end of Week 4, is a game-player.
The 42-year-old told the Channel 4 BB website that the Dorset
student is playing-up to the cameras and playing down his
"I think he's tricky; I think he's got a gameplan,"
opined Davina, adding: "He always does the thing that
will win him the popular vote. He's not stupid, he's a clever
If making yourself come across as a bit of a prat is a good
gameplan, then he's probably guilty. In the case of Big Brother
8 thicko and eventual winner Brian Belo, that turned out to
be a fantastic gameplan and won him the prize money.
Here at BBO, we're more suspicious about the most recent
round of latecomers, particularly Jo and Joe John. When they
arrived along with Laura on Friday night, Jo kept claiming
that she knew very little about what had happened so far during
the series, which is highly unlikely to be frank.
Meanwhile, immediately upon his arrival, Joe John made a
beeline for someone he would have known was popular among
fans, namely John James. Indeed, the boxer even said before
he entered the House that he could see himself getting friendly
with the Australian very quickly.
The 20-something hunk also seems intent on re-iterating how
similar he is to bookies' favourite John, but they aren't
that similar at all really, aside from the fact that they
are both good-looking and competitive.
