The show has turned into a bit of a debacle for Channel 4
this week hasn't it?
The latest change to the producers' plans is that they've
had to scrap the upcoming eviction.
Because Caoimhe quit yesterday and Keeley subsequently required
hospitalisation, all of this week's nominations have been
deemed null and void. Therefore, this Friday's eviction (23rd
July 2010) has been cancelled, and the 6th Eviction will take
place next week instead.
This latest development means the nominees, which started-out
being Caoimhe and Rachel but ended-up as Corin, Keeley and
Rachel, are now off the hook. There will be no need for Channel
4 to refund any votes though, because the phone lines weren't
due to open until tonight and so no votes have been cast.
The seventh round of nominations will take place on Monday
as scheduled, by which time Keeley should be back in the game...
unless she decides to call it a day before then.
In the meantime, to fill the airtime on Friday night, Davina
McCall – who at the time of writing is stuck in France
due to a strike by air traffic controllers – will interview
