Govan was announced as the 2nd Evictee of the series tonight.
Once again, to increase the tension and drag things out,
Davina McCall had already told Mario and Dave that they were
safe. However, the announcement was done 'in no particular
order', so we don't know which one came second, third or fourth
in the public vote.
Our 2nd Eviction Poll, which got the percentage of tonight's
evictee absolutely spot-on, suggests that Dave was probably
second to Govan, with Ben next and Mario last. However, even
if that's the case, second-placed Dave was miles
behind Govan, who received a whopping 72% in the four-way
public vote/ our Poll.
Anyway, just before Davina addressed the group for the second
time tonight, the 21-year-old looked really nervous and fidgety,
but fellow nominee Ben just wore a 'botox-like' static face.
Upon hearing his name announced as the latest evictee, Govan
just laughed but his peers gasped, a few of them sat there
open-mouthed and in obvious shock.
When told to leave the House by Big Brother, Govan received
a little hug from everyone, but as he reached the top of the
stairs he heard boos from the waiting crowd. The double doors
opened and the voluntary worker wore an embarrassed face as
he calmly walked down the steps to meet Davina.
Govan duly posed for the press, and just one interview stood
between him and the outside world.
He leaves twelve people in the game.
