It's DEFINITELY Too Late To Apply For BB10

It's mid-May now, and around five months ago we published a prominent article detailing how to apply for Big Brother 10 UK, making it absolutely clear when the procedure ended.

However, that hasn't stopped us receiving a steady flow of e-mails over the past few months from late applicants, all offering their excuses and begging for help getting on the show this summer. Wake-up call: you're waaaay too late now, folks.

We say that because apart from the fact that the open auditions ended on the 7th of February 2009 and online applications closed a few days before that, the production team have now whittled all the applicants down to a group of around 25 would-be housemates.

A third of those hopefuls won't make actually it on to the show, but simple maths tells you that the producers will therefore have about 8 or 9 spare candidates. And should one of the 'lucky sixteen' suddenly drop-out last-minute, one of those spares will duly step-in and take their place.

Indeed, many of the unsuccessful candidates will become sworn-to-secrecy 'standby' contestants, so the upshot of all this is that you've got no chance!

Nevermind, just look forward to watching the upcoming series, and if you really want to become a contestant next year, just remember to start thinking about it at Christmastime. Actually, why not add yourself to our Newsletter mailing list and we'll send you a reminder when the time comes?
