Channel 4 Say: Victor Not A Dealer
Channel 4 has issued a statement to quash the rumours and
speculation that Victor is a drug dealer.
A certain newspaper has landed itself in hot water with the
broadcaster over recent allegations that Vic admitted to being
a drug dealer on Day 17.
It was reported that a late-night group discussion took place
between Vic, Stu, Jay and Dan, during which the bad boy contestant
allegedly admitted that he dealt hard drugs.
Furthermore, he was quoted by the newspaper as saying, "If
someone doesn't pay up, then I give them a good bashing".
However, the press department at Channel 4, no doubt keenly
assisted by their legal team, have poured over the tapes and
found no record of such a conversation taking place.
To the contrary, during a conversation the previous day, Vic
denied that he'd ever been involved in drug dealing, saying,
"I could have been a perfect, perfect dealer, if I ever
wanted to deal, which I never do and never have, because I
am just not interested... in drugs and that".
Of course, the broadcaster doesn't know for sure what gets
up to in real life but frankly, we think it's all talk just
to 'big himself up'. He may well talk about hotting people
up, but the cocky Londoner indicated during one conversation
recently that he may not be such a bad boy after all.
In the chat about how people will often cross the street,
intimidated by his colour, he said, "I'm just a student,
what am I going to do?" So, is he really a bad boy, or
is he merely he a pussy cat with a big mouth and a penchant
for watching gangster movies?
