Mini-Task: Housemates Make The News

The housemates were set another mini-task by Big Brother tonight, which was to produce their own series of news broadcasts.

Each housemate had to construct and read-out a 60-second report, covering one of ten different subjects based on what they thought might be happening in the real world.

Here's 'who covered what':

Ahmed - World News, with a story about the Department of Defence being renamed the Department of Attack.
Dan - Pop Music, with an item about Michelle getting a record deal. God help us!
Jason - Sport, with details of how Victor had signed for Boston United for £210 a week.
Marco - Home Affairs, with a less-than-sensible report on, "Education and stuff", and "the NHS and that".
Michelle - The traditional and light-hearted 'And Finally' piece included news from the Big Brother house, which totally contrasted with real news bulletins from last week re: the big bust-up!
Nadia - Showbiz Gossip, with a largely unintelligible report featuring the odd expletive when she messed things up. Hmm, that wasn't in the script!
Shell - Royalty, with a story about how Nadia was set to marry Prince William. Oh lordy, watch out Wills!
Stuart - Science and Technology, with an amusing report on our useless roving Mars robot 'Beagle 2'.
Vanessa - 'Ness covered what was going down in the world of Business.
Victor aka Trevor McBigdi*k - Crime, with a slightly mad diatribe on chick-fodder TV show, Sex & The City.

Wearing cardboard television sets on their heads and pastiche 'Trevor McDoughnut' glasses and ties, the group looked ridiculous as they completed the task, but had a right laugh doing-so.

As Sir Trev might say, "That was the news. Goodniiiiiight!"
