Talkin' Bout A Revolution

After getting upset yesterday and vowing to have a good time today, it looked like Kitten had relinquished at least some of her anarchic stance when she joined the group in their fun 'BB Idol' contest tonight.

However, it wasn't long before the troubled housemate once again challenged Big Bro's authority, after the all-seeing one asked for the return of everyone's empty suitcases.

Actually instigated by a subtly manipulative Stuart, Kitten cajoled all the housemates into visiting the diary room en masse to demand the return of her suitcase, as a matter of principle.

The omnipresent power outright refused to negotiate, but said that it would get back to the group. In the meantime, however, they hung on to their cases in a surprising act of group defiance, much to the appreciation of Kit.

But the Brighton girl was determined not to 'play the game' and told her peers that she had no intention of nominating when the time came. "I don't want to do it, and I won't do it", she said, matter-of-factly.

Re-iterating that she intended to challenge Big Bro whatever the outcome, you couldn't help feeling that she was jeopardising what new-found respect she might have gained that evening for lightening up and joining-in.

Still, she did seem to have strong support from Dan, Stuart, Emma, Ahmed, Nadia and Vanessa - the former noting that the group had been controlled for two weeks already by BB (i.e. when hidden away), "So, what does it expect?"

A little later Kit danced around in the kitchen as Emma showed off her singing voice, knocking-out a few numbers from the likes of Soul II Soul, Lisa Stansfield and Tracy Chapman.

And yes, just in case you're wondering, she did do a rendition of Chapman's, 'Talkin' Bout A Revolution'. How very apt!
