3rd Live Challenge: Relay Charades

The 3rd Live Saturday Night Challenge has been passed by six out the remaining nine housemates.

This week's challenge was a game of 'relay charades', where by the group were given 6 minutes during which they had to perform as many charades as possible, with just one try each.

This equated to 45 seconds per person, per charade.

Jon picked himself as the guesser who, unlike during the tug-of-war challenge, would not automatically go through to the reward room. Instead, he would only go through if everyone else failed.

Federico was the first person to go and upon hearing the starting klaxon, ran straight into the diary room, grabbed the envelope and card with his charade printed on it and legged-it to the bedroom to perform to an awaiting Jon.

However, Big Bro didn't get a chance to tell the hasty Glasgow boy that he must leave the card in the diary room, and so called Fed back just as he'd got to the bedroom.

Therefore, by the time Jon had guessed 'Shrek' and Fed had left the room, come back for his hat and then 'tagged the next performer, 72 seconds had passed meaning that they were already way behind schedule.

Ray was next to go and it took a total of 46 seconds to complete his stage of the relay, with Jon guessing 'The Naked Chef' when Ray pulled-off his shirt to reveal some flesh!

Steph got flustered with her performance and it was only when she teasingly smacked her bum that Jon got the answer: 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer'. It took 63 seconds in total, making the total time taken at that stage 181 seconds, or the same as the allotted time for four charades.

Nush faired better, with Jon guessing 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' almost instantly, although her stage still took 39 seconds to complete.

Tania was next up but it took a whopping 75 seconds as Jon struggled to guess the flustered competitor's charade, eventually hitting upon 'Message In A Bottle' and then revising it to the correct song title of 'Genie In A Bottle'.

Cameron had the hardest title to perform and decided to give-up trying after a short while, but it still took around 40 seconds to compete his failed stage. The song was 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.

This left about 20 seconds for Scott, who only had literally only a few seconds in front of Jon to try and perform his charade of 'Dirty Dancing'. He failed, as the klaxon sounded to signal the end of the challenge.

So, Fed, Nush, Ray, Steph and Tania were through, and were given the chance to perform one last charade in order to take one of the four losers with them. Fed took the gamble to perform, which would have cost him his treat had he been unsuccessful.

However, after the incorrect suggestion of 'Rock DJ' from Gos, Cameron hit upon the correct answer of 'Jailhouse Rock', meaning he could join the group of Winners in the reward room.

So, now everyone has been in the hidden room at least once, most housemates twice. No need for any tantrums this week then.
