Shop 'n' Strop

It seems that having a shopping budget of over £150 instead of just £12 has thrown the group into a bit of a frenzy today, as they tried to decide how to spend it all.

The housemates all gathered in the lounge to pour over the shopping menus this afternoon, with Nush reading out the choices while Steph jotted everything down on the board.

But it was definitely a case of 'too many cooks', as a heated argument took place about how much chicken they should order.

Nush was getting more and more agitated as the time ticked-by and expressed her opinion that, "We've ordered too much meat and too much cheese".

"I think we've forgotten how to eat properly!" said Jon, referring to the fact that their shopping budgets have been reasonably low since the start of the game, due to three failed tasks.

However Ray, annoyed with the ultimately-fruitless debate, barked, "Sorry Jon, but I couldn't give two monkeys about the food. We eat well enough".

"YOU might think so," replied Jon.

But it all proved too much for Ray, who disappeared off into the garden as the discussion about cheese pricing continued, muttering to himself, "F*** off! Get out of my face".

The stroppy Irishman did return though, to help the group decide how much booze to buy.

"I think we should have done (this) from the beginning... seventy 'quid on food, twenty on treats and fifty on drinks. Sorted," said Ray, seeking to bring a close to the endless discussion.

So, having ordered nine bottles of cider, one box of wine and twenty cans of beer, are we now set to witness some drunken nights of fun, frolics or friction over the coming week?

You can bet on it!
