In They Go - Our First Impressions

From the very second Anouska stepped into the Big Brother House, we had a feeling about her. The exaggerated model-like wiggle, the way she was dressed, her mannerisms. She thought something of herself, no two ways about it.

In fact, when the other housemates began to arrive she gave them all a good look up and down.

However, she quickly become annoying, in the same way that Jade did with her 'turbo gob'. It's hard to say why, perhaps it's just her age? (all you BB hopeful 18-year-olds, take note). Remember, Jade was also the baby of the house. Anouska needs to take it down a notch or two if she's to have any hope of staying.

Then came the oldest housemate Cameron, who seems like a nice chirpy bloke and at least his Blair-style 'perma-smile' is pleasing to look at. We just hope he doesn't start 'bashing his Bible' or he'll be out of there quicker than you can say, "Hello, I'm a Jehovah's Wit... <SLAM>!"

Darius-haired Federico was the next into the house and evidently thinks he's cool. The fact that he looks like a baby-faced version of the first night's voice of Big Brother, producer Paul (a Scot) and is Scottish (like head BB honcho Phil Edgar Jones), probably had nothing to do with his inclusion in the show. Hmm.

Gos was the next through the famous entrance and seems like a fun, genuine guy; not your usual 'fiery Chef' character! We liked him straight away and we're tempted to back Gos going on instinct alone. To see if we actually 'put our money where our mouth is' and backed the big guy with our first bet of the series, please check-out the Betting Zone section of the site.

Oh yes Jon, or is it Spencer? A quiet guy for sure, we haven't heard much from Jon yet so it's difficult to judge him on first impressions. Let's wait and see whether he 'comes out of himself', or just carbon-copies the original Spanky Spencer by doing nothing at all except breath, fart and sweat a lot!

Justine came next and like Cameron, seems very "nice". She looked slightly left out of things at first by the other girls and is perhaps a bit more mature? We've got a feeling that Justine will grow on us as the weeks go by.

Nush was next into the BB House. Whichever way you look at it, we had the distinct feeling that Big Bro contrived to put two 'nooshes in the house purely to rile one or the other. Did you see the look on Anouska's face when Nush turned-up and declared her name? Great stuff! Anyway, Nush seems like a bubbly girl, so could be fun.

Raymond entered the house next as the Irish contingent. We have no doubt that female viewers will love Ray's sexy accent and he seems like a decent, down-to-earth, chatty guy. Also, a bit of a looker maybe?

Next came 'scouser Scott who like Ray, appears to be a genuine, likeable guy. With his 'cheeky chappy' looks, he could be a lot of fun?

Fellow 'scouser Sissy was the next housemate through those famous doors and seemed to be almost more hyper than Anouska, with her Sonia-a-like voice! 'Loud and lively' was our first impression, which is no bad thing, as Jade ultimately proved last year.

The penultimate person to enter the house was Steph. Steph looks a bit mischievous and would appear to be a bit of a talker.

Last but not least was Tania, who appeared to look everyone up-and-down as she met them. It's getting a bit clichéd now, but again she looks quite bubbly and friendly.

So, that's the 'Big Brother Twelve' for series 4 and those are our first impressions - we have a strong feeling that this particular group of people has been chosen to encourage nookie, rather than OTT fun or arguments.

Everyone seems to be getting on swimmingly so far, but then they've only known each other for a matter of hours... just wait until they get some drink inside them; then we should start to see some characters coming to the fore!
